Economic crises accompany the world constantly. In the last 20 years alone, we have witnessed several large-scale shocks.
But the world's crises hit emerging economies the hardest. The 2020 coronacrisis is no exception. Energy prices fell by a third, world trade sank noticeably. At the same time, the crisis has exacerbated problems with the debt sustainability and solvency of many countries.
To overcome the consequences of the pandemic and achieve sustained growth, economic integration is needed. This video was made for the opening of the First Eurasian Congress, which was held in Moscow in December 2020.
