At the Moscow-2030 exhibition, visitors stepped into an unusual attraction — the “Elevator to the Future.” Instead of regular walls, the cabin was wrapped in giant LED screens that turned the ride into a virtual journey through the new Big City district.
Not long ago, this area was just an aging industrial zone, holding the city back. Today, it’s filled with skyscrapers, parks, thousands of trees, modern schools, and a whole new infrastructure.
Our film told the story of this transformation. We produced it together with Avilex, the company that built the real elevator. The structure includes nine LED surfaces, with a total content resolution of more than 40K.
Despite extremely tight deadlines, we managed to create a virtual replica of the district — complete with streets, courtyards, new apartment interiors, and more. And we didn’t stop at empty spaces: we filled them with animated residents to bring the city to life.
